How do I open a live account?
Apply for an account by submitting your contact details, personal information (with proof of address) & trading experience. Once the application is complete & all appropriateness checks are valid, we’ll email you access codes to our client portal. Upon opening the portal with your unique details, you’ll be able to make your first deposit via secure transfer along with your proof of account.

Can I open a trading demo account?
Yes, you can open a free trading demo account with a balance of $10,000 in simulated funds to test the platform and your trading strategies on live markets in a risk-free environment.

What will I need to apply for an Equiti account?
You’ll need a form of ID (such as a passport) and a working email and phone number to activate your account. You will also need one of the payment methods mentioned above to ensure you can fund your trading account securely.
To register for an Equiti account, open the Equiti Portal, click “Open Account” and fill out your details. We’ll send you an email to verify your account, and then you’ll need to make your first deposit to start trading.
Your trading account is compatible with all our trading platforms: MetaTrader 4 (MT4), and MetaTrader 5 (MT5).
How can I fund my trading account?
We offer many ways to add money and withdraw profits from your trading account. Once you’ve set up your trading account, you can login to the Equiti Portal and view all our available deposit methods, their transfer times and further details.

Can I change my existing account type or currency?
Once an account type and currency is set, it’s not possible to change these details to ensure we stay compliant to local regulators. We do allow up to three trading accounts under any one portal, so we recommend you open a second (or third – at the max) account with a new account type and currency.
What is the Equiti Welcome Bonus offer?

How can I claim the welcome bonus?
You can claim the bonus by depositing more than the minimum $100 and upon deposit, accepting the terms and conditions within the client portal.
When will the bonus be credited to my account?
The bonus will be credited within 30 minutes to a maximum of 1 business day after your first deposit is made.
Does the Welcome Bonus affect my account leverage?
Yes, while the bonus is active, your account leverage will be set to 500:1 and will return to 2000:1 once the bonus is removed.
Can I use the bonus to cover trading losses?
No, the bonus cannot be used to cover trading losses. It's displayed in the credit field on the MT5 platform and cannot be utilised to offset losses in your account.
Can I withdraw the bonus funds?
No, the bonus is not realisable and cannot be withdrawn. It will be removed if you withdraw or transfer out any funds, or if your own funds fall to 5% or less of your total equity.
How long is the bonus valid for?
There is no expiry time for the bonus.
Will my trading conditions change after the bonus is removed?
Yes, once the bonus is removed, your account leverage will revert from 500:1 to the standard 2000:1.
